Astimda farmakogenetik çalismalar

Genel anlamda “farmakogenetik” terimi herhangi bir farmakolojik ajana olan yanitin genetik belirteçlerini tanimlar. Astim farmakogenetigi üzerine çalismalar ilaç hedeflerindeki degisiklikler üzerine yogunlasmistir. Astim farmakogenetigi çalismalarinin amaci, genetik yapilarina bakarak hangi bireylerin tedaviye iyi yanit verecegini veya hangi bireylerin tedaviye yanit vermeyecegininin saptanmasidir. Astim tedavisinde farmakogenetik iliski‚ beta-2 agonistler, anti-lökotrien ilaçlar ve çok yakin zamanda glukokortikoidler için tanimlanmistir. Farmakogenetik yaklasimlarin yakin gelecekte astim tedavisinde önemli degisiklikleri gündeme getirmesi beklenmektedir.
