ABSTRACT
Over the time, in spite of various improvements in diagnostic technology, physical examination maintains its importanance and still creating basic all types of the medical diagnosis. Pulmonary auscultation is the essential of physical examination. Although pulmonary auscultation is known since Hippocrates, it became milestone in this matter in which Laennec‘s invention of stethoscope, categorization of lung sounds and these are associated with lung pathologies. Over the time, followed changes in terminology related with lung sounds caused difficulties to use common language for clinicians. With this article, breahthing sounds which are listened several times everyday in daily practical revising with curent guides and it is aimed to emphasized the importance of diagnosis lung patatology in this diagnosis method which is fast and non-invasive, easy-repeatable.
